About Me
I'm very much a "freelance" arts librarian these days. I am currently studying for a Master of Information Management at Curtin University of Technology, writing a thesis with the working title "Memory Institutions: Tracing oblivion through public collections". I'm researching how a study of memory can be applied to archives, art galleries, libraries, and museums. I'm using my cultural studies background to undertake a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary study in this field.

I'm currently working at the State Library of Western Australia as an archivist. My previous experience includes my position as Information Services Coordinator at the Art Gallery of Western Australia before the closure of the Research Centre; Documentation Coordinator at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts; working on the Guide to Australian Literary Manuscripts at the Scholars' Centre, University of Western Australia; positions as a reference librarian at several universities with subject specialisations in Philosophy, Women's Studies, Multimedia, and Journalism.

I am interim editor of the ARLIS/ANZ Journal so please contact me if you have any ideas that you'd like to see implemented or to contribute to our Journal. I can be contacted on the email . I would love to hear from you!
