About Me

I am an Arts Librarian and avid zinester (ie: maker/appreciator of zines) working within the Access & Information Division of the State Library of Victoria, and this is still the only paid librarian position I have held so far in my professional life. I have a Diploma of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing, a Graduate Diploma in Information Management, and I am in the process of completing a Master of Applied Science in Library and Information Management via distance education. The important socio-political obligations of libraries never ceases to inspire me, and I specifically like how open to adaptation the LIS field is when encountering new and exciting areas where such expertise is required (such as the growing niche area of zine-brarianship).
