Brisbane Festival's Big Square Eye
Posted June 15th, 2008 by Ellen Thompson
Big Square Eye is a massive multimedia artwork that delves into the mind's eye of young people from the suburbs of Brisbane and throughout regional Queensland.
Big Square Eye crosses generation and geography to present an hour-long detonation of young language in moving image.
For the duration of the Brisbane Festival, between 11am and 5pm, the video works will be played simultaneously on the TV screens of 16 Retravision stores throughout Queensland and in a gallery installation at QUT Creative Industries.
See the works online at www.brisbanefestival.com.au.
